Reporting directly to the Delivery Lead Core Banking, the Senior Technical Project Manager for Core Banking Modernisation is a critical hands-on, multi-skilled senior leadership role. In this role you'll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the assigned project development streams and squads, as such, is critical in shaping the future of banking for ING Australia and facilitating delivery of complex change under ING Australia's largest transformation program.
Additionally, you'll liaise with a wide range of global stakeholders to help accelerate strategic outcomes whilst ensuring executional certainty and adherence to transformation methodologies and framework. Perfect role if you're a technical project manager experienced in managing multiple projects!
What you'll do … Support the core banking program governance and committee forums, with a focus on program status reporting and key decisions required. Manage across the development squads that will be assigned for the development squads covering APIs and Microservices across the Program. Support the Delivery Lead and Program Director with collaboration across all relevant stakeholders across ING. Effective management of any Platform vendor partner and partner relationships relevant to the allocated stream. Contribute to Core Banking input/reporting into for the organisation-wide portfolio prioritisation processes for both the quarterly QBR and annual process. What we're looking for… Experience in Technical delivery of large-scale banking transformation programs. Demonstrated experience in delivery Core banking, Middleware or Payments automation projects. Extensive experience in API and Microservices solution delivery. Proven experience in API integrations . Demonstrated delivery experience with Java/C# and cloud technologies. Demonstrated understanding of associated key disciplines (i.e., project management, project planning, resource and workforce planning, strategic planning, dependency mapping, action planning, compliance & risk management, data collection and analysis) Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence appropriately at all levels of the organization.
