Senior Tax Accountant - Sunshine Coast

Clarke McEwan Accountants is a well-established Chartered Accounting firm (est 1995) located at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. Our waterfront offices are centrally located on the Cotton Tree Esplanade, close to parks, cafes, Sunshine Plaza and the new Maroochydore town centre.
Our firm specializes in working with well-established businesses and professional clients such as doctors, medical centres and health professionals.
We have a new position available for a part-time or full-time tax accountant to become part of our growing team. The position can be flexible based on your circumstances.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
CA/CPA or working toward
4+ years experience working in Australian Public Practice across all entity types
Experience in managing workflow and reviewing work
Excellent technical tax knowledge
Experience with the Access Handisoft suite, BGL360, office365, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, Xero and Myob, BGL 360/Class will be highly regarded.
The role will involve technical research and helping clients with ongoing business, tax and super advice as required. You will work as part of a small and very experienced team of accountants and have access to an online specialist support desk for technical research and backup file support for client advice. You will receive ongoing training and development support to keep up to date with your technical skills and professional development with access to NTAA tax schools and seminars, Knowledge Shop, Kaplan, CA and CPA professional development.
