Senior Tax Accountant

This is a once off amazing career opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant.A well established Accounting Practice located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their extremely successful team.If you have around 5 years' experience in public practice, perhaps seeking a sea change and / or are wanting to advance your career in Accounting, this is the career opportunity for you!Responsibilities include:Tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, superannuation fundsClient interviews to collect information and/or complete tax returnsLiaise with clients re: missing information and queries etcProviding Accounting advice to clientsPreparation of BAS' and IAS'Preparation of financial statements (year end and interim) for the above clientsLiaise with ATO re: client issues and queries etcReconciliation of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other software, along with manual cashbooksResearch on tax-related issuesReport to client manager for review, queries and progress on clientsPrepare invoices on instruction from client managerTraining of junior accountantsAssisting with job reviewsAny other ad-hocSkills/Attributes required:Approximately 5 years solid Accounting experience within a Public PracticeCPA or CA qualifiedXero and other accounting softwareHigh level attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProactive and innovativeFlexible and adaptable approachEnthusiastic team playerHave confidentiality and discretionSolid work ethicWell presentedPunctual and reliableSalary:$90K - $120K (depending on experience)Days: Monday to FridayHours: 9.00am – 5.30pmStart: ASAPTo apply please send your resume to
