Zero. You may think it's nothing, but to us at ENGIE… zero is everything! The opportunity: In this newly created position you will work closely with our Finance Systems Manager to support the finance community in optimising technology applications and finance systems.
Your role will include maintenance of finance systems and troubleshooting; as well as proactive initiatives with a continuous improvement mindset.
You will possess a strong foundational knowledge in core accounting processes and will either have made the shift already to a finance systems role OR have a passion for technology in the finance realm and currently are in a finance role. We can help you learn some of the skills!
The role is operational in nature and will work closely with the wider finance team and business stakeholders on providing finance systems support to ensure integrity of data and reporting and financial control are maintained.
Responsibilities will include: Maintaining financial systems & ensure the integrity of data and reportingOptimisation of systems and investigate and resolve issuesAnalysis of all daily, weekly, and monthly financial processing and provide systems support and administration responsibilities in delivering an effective suite of Finance systemsMaintain master data and chart of accounts as well as user profilesCore systems include SUN and Workday AdaptiveAbout you: Excellent stakeholder management skills and customer focusBackground in Finance with experience in Finance systems support/administration, projects coordination or system testingCA or CPA qualification is advantageousAdaptive to change and able to influence outcomesKnowledge of chart of accountsStrong knowledge of financial/business processes i.e. Procure to Pay, Record to Report etc.Exposure to SUN is advantageousGenuine enthusiasm for systems and process optimisationNext Steps:
