Senior Tax Accountant Responsibilities ($85k - $95k plus Super)

Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations. Oversee the management and review of financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. Conduct comprehensive tax research to ensure ongoing compliance with Australian tax regulations and stay updated on legislative changes. Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS), Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, and Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns accurately and timely. Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, addressing tax-related inquiries and issues, and offering strategic tax solutions. Mentor and guide junior tax accountants.
Requirements:
Understanding of Tax returns, BAS, GST, and FBT in Australia. Proficiency in MYOB AE software. Australian Tax Experience. CA/CPA or willing to undertake.
