Are you looking to take the next step in your career? The Queensland Revenue Office is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Professional to take on a leadership role of AO7 Senior Systems Integrity Officer.

This role is part of the Integrity team within the Architecture and Planning branch in the Technology and Analytics Division. You will lead in the areas of IT security, governance, audit engagement, risk management, system appraisals, risk identification and assessment, and the implementation and management of related internal controls.
Your typical day as a Senior Systems Integrity Officer may include:

Working with project leads and the operations teams, you will implement ISMS across existing and new system implementations. You will need to identify the information security risks (and the risk owners), analyse and evaluate the risks and then ensure that the appropriate security and cyber controls are implemented.Managing vulnerability and penetration testing engagements across multiple vendors, technologies and system owners, while also being responsible for coordinating the remediation of report findings with the system owners/vendors to closure.Overseeing the development, maintenance and execution of system/access controls monitoring and reporting across business and privileged system users.Investigating security incidents and coordinating the response to data breaches with internal stakeholders and external vendors.Working with the QRO Governance team and system owners, you will be the central point of coordinating internal and external audits and addressing the findings.To be successful in the role, you will need to:

Demonstrate a pro-active approach to risk management.Provide authoritative advice on internal control mechanisms and governance processes that add value and improve IT business operations.Ideally possess a qualification in one or more of the following: ISO 27000 for ISMS (lead auditor/implementer), CISSP, CISA, and CRISC.Have proven internal and external stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.Queensland Treasury is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the community we serve and treating all applicants equitably.
