Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support the delivery of the LAND 2072 PH2B Currawong Support Program as part of the Battlespace Communications System franchise.As a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer you will apply your extensive Systems Engineering knowledge and leadership ability to support multidisciplinary Integrated Product Teams through the full lifecycle of engineering change and in-service support of LAND 2072 PH2B Currawong and Battlespace Communications System franchise products.This position is based in Brisbane.ResponsibilitiesManages ECP's or designs through the system engineering reviews and process, working collaboratively with Integrated Products Teams, including design definition, development approval, integration, verification and delivery.Works with the Engineering Services Manager to ensure the engineering scope is delivered within the quality, schedule and budgetary constraints of the program.Leading the engineering change through key reviews including development approval and other technical design reviews.Analysing requirements compliance and identification/resolution of bugs/defects.Developing and reviewing support system specifications, design notes, Integration / Test Plans and Procedures, and other support artefacts working with the Support Services Manager.Mentoring of less experienced engineers including teaching, guiding and coaching.Experience/QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects.Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management.Demonstrated technical leadership and coordination qualities, working on behalf of the Engineering Services Manager, to deliver technical solutions.Experience with Change Management processes and progressing change management artefacts.Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage, influence and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and customers.Experience in Integrated Logistics Support Engineering including planning, managing and reporting progress of technical work scope is highly desirable.Experience with aerospace and / or defence projects highly regarded.Experience in supporting projects in an ASDEFCON contract environment highly regarded.EligibilityApplicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.BenefitsCutting edge projects.Flexible working options.Competitive remuneration and incentive plan available.Discounts for health insurance, travel and accommodation.Salary packaging options.Health and wellbeing benefits.Study assistance.Global opportunities.If you are ready to join an innovative industry leader, click Apply Now.Equal Opportunity Employer:We are an equal opportunity employer.
