L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems Australia Senior Systems Engineer Eight Mile Plains 12 month Fixed Term Contract The OpportunityL3Harris Space & Airborne Systems Australia is currently seeking a senior Systems Engineer to assist with the planning and execution of system engineering activities, in particular verification and system acceptance, within a current complex engineering project in electronic warfare.
Responsibilities include:Work in a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the timely and professional delivery of project outcomes.Plan, prepare and participate in effective testing and verification programs.Ensure program compliance with technical, quality and safety requirements.Plan and participate in internal company processes e.g. non-conformance reports, failure reports, etc.Communicate effectively with customers and present engineering artefacts during internal and customer reviews.Participate in requirements management for the project.Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints.What you'll bring:Degree in electronic/electrical engineering or similar discipline. Post-graduate qualifications in Systems Engineering desirable.6+ years of experience in a System Engineering role.Demonstrated experience across the system engineering life cycle, especially the planning, development and conduct of verification and system acceptance campaigns.Experience with requirements management tools desirable.Experience in the planning and conduct of customer technical reviews.Is a RPEQ, or eligible to apply and obtain RPEQ registration.Ability to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Excellent computer and communication skills.About usL3Harris is dedicated to recruiting and developing diverse, high-performing talent who are passionate about what they do.
