As the Senior System Developer, you will be a member of a technical development and delivery team working in agile cross-functional teams.

The role will provide programming skills, application design and technical input, database knowledge, systems analysis and advice in collaboration with other developers.

Lead coding and software development through technical system design, testing (manual & automated), executing security and code/testing reviews, creating and modifying program code based on supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result.

Contribute to application development practices, documenting specifications, design and technical details, building in-house knowledge of core systems, providing advice to business, and work with Technical Lead on infrastructure & integration with Treasury IT.

Support PMO & Delivery processes and ways of working, contributing to security, compliance, audit and risk management activities, building team capability and delivering value for stakeholders.

Manage key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
Facilitate open communication and discussion between initiative stakeholders building connections for collaborative delivery.

About you To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Excellent knowledge of low code technologies (Appian) and Business Process Modelling (BPM), experience with Oracle and SQL server databases, Java, Ruby/Python, Cucumber; web-based applications, technologies, integrations and API; Test driven development (TDD) and automated regression testing.
A strong track record of successfully achieving timely and quality business solutions in a rapid development test and learn model.
Good understanding of application development, design and coding principles, database, integration and infrastructure implementation and deployment best practices.
Experience in applying cyber security principles, data governance, privacy and other compliance standards in application development.
Ability to work collaboratively, be innovative and identify creative solutions to complex issues in challenging and ambiguous environments.
