Cursa is a long-standing ICT Managed Service Provider (MSP) founded on the Gold Coast.
We are looking for a driven individual to complement our team in 2024 and as such provide hands on support to our clients and join our team for an immediate start.
Ideally this role will suit someone who has proven experience administering multi-platform environments and is able to manage themselves.
The role will involve liaising with clients to better understand their system needs and help develop solutions for them. The applicant must possess very strong understanding and experience with the latest Microsoft SME software solutions such as 365, Windows Server, routing/networking technologies, and have worked with Small to Medium Business solutions.
Responsibilities: Providing professional yet friendly support to our clients.Resolving client problems, queries and complaints in an effective and timely manner.Proactive Monitoring of customers' Systems & Services.Liaising effectively with Suppliers and vendors.Logging and keeping notes up to date using our in-house ticketing system (AutoTask)Installing/relocating any computers, printers and communications equipment as required.Assisting with developing and enhancing relevant standards, procedures and guidelines.Troubleshooting issues over the phone, remotely (using our remote support tool) and onsite.Provide remote support to a diversity of client environmentsWindows Desktop, Server and Microsoft application support.Mac device and application support.CCTV configuration and deployment.SIP and VOIP configurations and supportSupport Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments.Support Remote Desktop Services, Hypervisor & VMWare platformsAssist with the provisioning of Hosted Solution such as VPS Servers, Hosted Exchange, Hosted Anti-spam, Desktop applications and other 3rd Part Applications. Key qualities of the candidate include: Ability to work as a member of a team.Ability to work without supervision.Good oral and written communication skills.Good skills in personal work organisation.Time ManagementFast LearnerPassion for the industryPride in presentation Technical Requirements: Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).In-depth understanding of networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting (including firewalls).Mastery of hardware components and server architecture.Microsoft 365 platform administration: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID (Security/Compliance not required but desirable) Microsoft Server Administration knowledge.Cybersecurity expertise, including threat assessment and mitigation.Experience with data backup and recovery solutions.High level of document management. This is a full-time, office based position working on the scenic Gold Coast. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (excluding public holidays).
