One of our government client is looking for a Senior System Administartor to join their team in Brisbane.
As a Senior System Administrator you will use your technical expertise to support the Recording and Transcription platform, to ensure accurate recording, secure storage and appropriate accessibility of Court recordings.
Your Key Responsibilities Provide support, maintenance and incident response for the Recording and Transcription Platform to ensure accurate recording, storage, security and accessibility of Court recordings.
Provide proactive technical management and support for recording servers, portable recording kits and other court recording hardware.
Respond to support on complicated system matters with thorough investigation and diagnosis of incidents and undertake remedial action within agreed service level targets.
Provide timely feedback to clients and management regarding the status of problems and service requests to ensure that agreed service levels and client service standards are achieved.
Configure/install/monitor/support/manage the recording and transcription ICT environments by applying sound technical expertise.
Assist in the delivery of discrete operational project work packages or managed activities as directed by your team leader or the management team.
Develop, undertake and continuously refine routine, proactive system checks and maintenance activities on business-critical systems.
Perform deployment and updates of recording software, Microsoft operating system and other applications to client endpoints.
Research problems and resolve issues to ensure reliability and availability of services.
Analyse, advise, recommend and plan maintenance upgrades or enhancements to Recording and Transcription Platform infrastructure.
Liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to troubleshooting and upgrade information, including other departmental support teams and key business owners.
Undertake the development and maintenance of procedures and guidelines to ensure continuous improvement of recording and transcription technology operations.
What you'll need to succeed Highly developed Microsoft platform administration and support practices for Azure and on premise infrastructure.
Extensive knowledge and experience working in an IT application support environment that supports and maintains critical services with demanding service level targets.
Sound understanding of ITIL processes, including incident and request management along with continuous improvement principles.
Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Server hardware monitoring and support Azure IaaS (VMs and Storage) Azure backup, replication and recovery technologies Azure Windows Virtual Desktop Azure WAN and other networking technologies Resource and capacity planning Operating system deployment Software configuration and updates Patch management Active Directory Domain Services and Azure AD Support of other network devices, such as IP cameras ServiceNow ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation in IT Service Management certification About Ignite Since 1984, Ignite has been helping organisations with talent needs through Specialist Recruitment, On Demand, and Talent Solutions divisions.
