The successful candidate will provide high level advice to Queensland Health projects and programs on the capacity, resource requirements and timeframes to deliver interfacing solutions of a varying complexity.
Role responsibilities:
Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, with a customer service focus, to resolve issues relating to priorities, technical concepts, key technical decisions, scheduling, and Queensland Health's change management processes. Manage and execute the end-to-end software development processes for implementing new application integration interfaces at varying levels of complexity on Queensland Health's messaging infrastructure, including managing the interactions with the client project staff, to deliver successful business outcomes. Provide ongoing support and maintenance, including monitoring and troubleshooting, of clinical application integration interfaces in accordance with service level agreements and application interface specifications. Other duties as specified by the supervisor/line manager. You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience:
Familiarity with the ITIL methodology and processes (SFIA: METL Level 4) Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal project stakeholders and external application vendors in order to deliver the required healthcare outcomes (SFIA: RLMT Level 5) Demonstrated interpersonal, consultation, negotiation and communication skills to enable effective interaction with technical and non-technical staff (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing) Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are achieved (NHS: Self Management) Knowledge of Rhapsody Development (SFIA: TECH Level 5) Specific working conditions:
Variable hours : Weekend and afterhours work may be required (at various locations in Queensland as determined by business needs) and may be requested at short notice. While not mandatory, any relevant qualifications in Information Communication Technology or similar would be highly desirable. This position may be required to work at different sites.
