About the Role
As a System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and applications. This position is ideal for a professional with extensive experience in Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and hybrid-cloud deployment models. You will support development teams in application cloud migrations and modernisation while ensuring compliance with ISM and PSPF standards.
Key Responsibilities Azure DevOps Services: Utilise your strong experience with Azure DevOps Services, including Repositories and CI/CD Pipelines for Dotnet and Node JS, to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Infrastructure as Code: Apply your expertise in BICEP and ARM templates to automate infrastructure deployment and management.
Azure PaaS Management: Manage and optimise Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) components, including but not limited to ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Storage, Compute, App Service, Managed Identities, Network Security Groups, and Log Analytics.
Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for automation and application provisioning.
Hybrid-Cloud Deployment: Implement and support hybrid-cloud deployment models, integrating Active Directory/Entra ID and Azure ARC.
Security & Compliance: Conduct environmental audit logging reviews and remediation in line with ISM and PSPF requirements.
Development Team Support: Assist development teams in the migration and modernisation of applications to the cloud, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal performance.
Required Skills and Experience Azure DevOps Services: Demonstrated and strong experience with Repos and CI/CD Pipelines for Dotnet and Node JS.
Infrastructure as Code: Demonstrated and strong experience with BICEP and ARM templates.
Azure PaaS: Demonstrated and strong experience with ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Storage, Compute, App Service, Managed Identities, Network Security Groups, and Log Analytics.
Scripting Automation: Demonstrated experience in scripting automation and application provisioning.
Hybrid-Cloud Deployment: Demonstrated experience working with hybrid-cloud deployment models, including Active Directory/Entra ID and Azure ARC.
Security Compliance: Proven experience in environmental audit logging review and remediation in line with ISM and PSPF standards.
Cloud Migrations: Experience supporting development teams in application cloud migrations and modernisation.
