Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join their team.
This is a contract until June 2025.
This is a remote role open for multiple locations such as Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
Contract role until June 2025Remote working hybridPaxus pays weeklyThe purpose of the role is to improve Digital capability through the development and support of new applications and functionality, to enhance user experience and business process efficiencies.
These applications include the HWC enterprise resource planning system and other bespoke systems to improve specific business function capability and efficiencies.
To be successful in this role you must:
Improve business processes and efficiencies through capitalising on your knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate)Write shell/batch scripts to automate, maintain, and/or monitor enterprise applicationsManage third-party support providers/vendorsAdhere to ITIL standards, specifically around problem and change managementActively participate in the Digital Change Management meetings and associated practicesProduce and maintain technical documentation for all enterprise application support proceduresContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededExecute on a range of business delivery requirements as specified in Hunter Water's Digital StrategyProactively monitor enterprise applications and relevant databasesEnsure that systems are operating effectively to meet the availability expectations of the businessResolve all Level 2 and 3 application incidents and requestsMonitor disaster recovery and high availability platform for all enterprise applicationsParticipate in regular backup and disaster recovery validation activitiesWork with the other Digital Teams to ensure all systems are maintained appropriatelyMaintain up-to-date patches and security fixes for enterprise applications and supporting infrastructureWork with the Cyber Security Team to remediate any systems security vulnerabilities that are identifiedImplement and manage security policies for enterprise applicationsWork with stakeholders to identify business and technical requirements for the projectEnsure solutions/technology comply with security standards and fit within the existing enterprise architectureFacilitate application migrations and upgradesProvide technical support to relevant project teamsTo be considered for this role:
Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems)Experience with Enterprise ERP/CRM (especially Ellipse and/or Velocity)Knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including the Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, Project Online/Server, Microsoft 365, and familiarity with various management toolsEstablished experience utilising the Microsoft Power Platform suite of products including demonstrated capability to build Power Apps, Power Automate Flow, or customise a Power BI reportExperience with Active Directory/Windows Server AdministrationPython, Bash, and PowerShell scripting knowledgeKnowledge of Administration with Linux operating systemsWhen inquiring about this role, please quote #267520.
