As a Senior Support Analyst (Data Platforms), you will serve as an SME and a Consultant to support the Data analytics platform and various user cases built using the platform.
You will be using your communication skills to influence decisions, performing start of day Smoke checks, investigating issues and liaising with L1 team and source system to resolve issues. Providing Incident, Problem and Change Management while deploying releases and engaging in projects.
Key Responsibilities Include: Provide 2nd Level application/systems support for the Data analytics platformEnsure systems up time meets set SLA'sEnsure our data, reporting and analytics platform are efficiently managed, including upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recoveryMaintain the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of data on a timely basis. Monitoring data pipelines ensuring it operate within acceptable limits, and continuously improving the efficiency, quality, and transparencyContinually reviewing and updating processes to increase functionality and efficiency What's in it for me?

What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills, education & personal attributes:
Experienced in Data Analytics, with SQL, Python and Spark.Excellent communications skills with an understanding of financial market systems and enjoy working in a collaborative team.A positive go-getter attitude, initiating preventive measures and procedural changes.Ability to work cross-functionally reaching across business lines or operating units.Presenting knowledge and perform research, making logical analysis, evaluating risks/benefitsRecommending alternatives for courses of action and implements creative solutions to complex problems.Understanding of code and how to read codeUnderstanding of the pre trade life cycleAny exposure to R, Risk or Compliance within a market industry and pre trade FX, Commodities / Rates trading activities would be advantageous.
