Working Monday to Friday, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long term career in a global company. Reporting to the Pilbara Support Coordinator, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet across the region, while keeping an impeccable safety record. You will also:Partake in the coordination and supervision of the implementation of Hitachi projects, shut downs, planned maintenance and day to day activities of Hitachi Pilbara Support TechniciansProvide customer service, dealing with Superintendent level (and others) requesting service assistance and schedule labour, arrange subcontractors, parts and assist with job package assembly accordinglyProvide Supervision for onsite shuts / projects / annual leave and workshop supervision as requiredSupport and coordination of tooling, parts and consumables for projects and site requirementsImplement job package assembly and ensure all relevant pre work checks, paperwork and assessments are in place and completed before, during and after the jobDevelop and implement strategic plans to improve, performance, equipment reliability and lower maintenance costsTo be successful in this role you will have:Relevant Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic trade qualificationsPrevious experience in a Supervisory Role with front line operational staff, with an understanding labour recovery principlesWorking knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight time framesDemonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regardedGood communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationshipsSafety focus and abide by site safety processesBenefitsWork with a global leader and make a big difference in a company that stands in its own right.
