The firm offers a broad range of solutions for underperforming businesses and their partners comprise of experienced Liquidators and Trustees who are well respected in the industry. Due to anticipated work in the pipeline they are recruiting an Insolvency Accountant with 2-5 years corporate insolvency experience.The RoleThey are looking for a career minded Accountant to join their team. Duties include:Day to day file management of insolvency appointments (CVLs, court liquidations, VAs, receiverships, small business restructuring, bankruptcy etc)Attending sites to inspect, collect and record assets, as well as books and recordsLiaising with directors, employees, creditors and other stakeholders (financiers, valuers, auctioneers, lawyers, ATO etc)Collection and investigation into company books & recordsManage sale of assets and/or sale of businessManage ongoing trading of businessInvestigations into insolvent trading, voidable transactions and offences committed by officersPreparation of s533 report and other statutory reports to ASICSkills and Experience2-5 years insolvency accounting experienceHold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law or relatedPart way or completed the CA or CPA programBenefitsStudy support (CA, CPA and ARITA) and staff training for continuing professional development.
