Reporting to Rebuilds Execution Manager, the Rebuilds Senior Supervisor is responsible for leading the assigned execution teams by providing guidance to team members ensuring safety, quality and efficiency are of the highest standard, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
The role is accountable for the daily management, task allocation and training of Workshop Supervisor Mechanical and Workshop Supervisor Electrical, direct customer interactions and updates, and direct WIP management of the bays allocated to achieve invoice timeframes as per policy. This will all assist to achieve WesTrac's targets of productivity (e.g., flat rate, technician productivity targets, WIP management), job quality (e.g., rework) and compliance to Caterpillar and Customer requirements.
This is achieved by demonstrating effective leadership across the entire Rebuilds Execution team, which includes WesTrac trades, non-trade persons and contractors, across all aspects of safety, oversight, training, coaching, work order management and resource and task allocation.

To be successful the following is required: Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Mobile plant or automotive electrical) Extensive experience in a similar role or technical environment Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information quickly Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously. Adaptability including the ability to perform efficiently in different environments and with diverse tasks and people Advanced communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal) Demonstrated advanced customer service skills with an understanding as to the importance of effective Customer Management Excellent organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly Stress tolerance and the ability to maintain satisfactory work standards under pressure Advanced stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills to enable effective resolution of issues within the workplace and/or customer disputes Caterpillar Systems, Parts, and Product Knowledge Front line Customer service roles within the mining, construction, and heavy equipment industry Continuous improvement experience using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean or Agile.
