Senior Supervisor

Job Description Senior Supervisor (Hay level 50) Solve unique but definite problems. Work systematically: apply well-known methods, techniques, and tooling (knowledge of a field at bachelor level) to achieve concrete and known results (project-wise). Offer professional arguments as the basis for making choices and for convincing the people concerned. Continuous attention to the improvement of work processes is required.
Carries out project plans (employable in all projects) and significantly contributes to them. Builds and manages constructive relations with stakeholders (customers, VI, suppliers) and understands all relevant disciplines. The fallback facility is very limited necessarily.
Based on extensive experience in project execution, technical skills, and experience with Vanderlande equipment, capable of working as a troubleshooter in every project worldwide.
Trains less experienced supervisors abroad in project execution.
Organizes on-site installation activities.
Creates a safe working environment during the project installation phases.
Works according to the agreed sequence and project schedule.
Properly prepares for the startup of the installation of the equipment.
Organizes proper unloading and site logistics.
Delegates responsibility for the installation to the foreman of the subcontractors.
Leads by example.
Works according to the C05 processes.
Performs quality checks on installation.
Provides proper feedback about progress and status.
Creates and supports a high-quality handover to commissioning.
Supports commissioning during the testing phase.
Organizes all site-related activities until handover to the customer.
Is aware of all site-related costs and works within the budgets.
