Position Title: Senior Statutory Planner Applications Close: Friday, November 1, 2024 - 5:00 pm The City of Warrnambool, located on the spectacular south west coast of Victoria, 3 hours' drive from Melbourne, is the largest city in southwest Victoria.
We are the major regional centre for healthcare, education, professional services and sport and culture in the region.
An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Statutory Planner to join the City Development Team.
The position seeks a highly experienced planner to work with a diverse range of applications and projects, which contribute to livability, sustainability and growth.
To join Council's diverse team of planning professionals, the successful applicant will be required to: Assist in the research and preparation of reports pertaining to planning applications in order to facilitate a review process conducted by both Manager City Strategy & Development and Council.
Demonstrate the ability to promote planning principles to members of the public, relevant authorities, and internal Council departments.
Hold a tertiary qualification in town planning or an associated discipline.
The Benefits This is a permanent full-time position with a current base salary range between $87,860 - $95,413 per annum, depending on demonstrated skills and experience + superannuation.
