About the Role Statutory and Senior Statutory Planners support the delivery of high-quality land use and development in a progressive and customer first organisation.
In these roles, you will work across a diverse range of planning projects, ranging from unit developments, heritage proposals, industrial and commercial developments and applications abutting our creek environments.
Provide quality and professional advice to customers.
Prepare reports and make recommendations on planning applications.
Prepare submissions and represent Council at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Assist in the review and monitoring of planning policies and procedures.
Undertake other duties as directed within the skills and abilities of a position at this level.
Skills & Experience Well developed understanding of the Victorian urban planning system and related acts.
Ability to research and analyse planning related issues.
Ability to manage time, set priorities and prepare and implement work plans in order to achieve desired results within the resources and time available.
Well developed customer service principles.
