Description: The Paediatric Services are supported by an experienced and courteous Nursing and Midwifery Staff who contribute immensely to the training of medical students, RMOs, and Trainee registrars in the department.
We have a pharmacist attached to the department that provides pharmaceutical information and other medication-related guidance on ward rounds daily.
The Level 4 Special Care Nursery has C.P.A.P. and ventilator capabilities, undertaking short-term respiratory support for newborns, or stabilisation before transfer to a Tertiary facility for ongoing management.
Infants born less than 32 weeks gestation are transferred in-utero if possible, in consultation with the Obstetric team.
Total remuneration value: Up to $528,432 p.a. is comprised of:
A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25 – L27)A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a.
