The Department of Medicine are now recruiting!Work to assist the Director with the organisation, management and provision of specialist renal services as well as providing leadership to medical staff within the department and to actively contribute to the multidisciplinary patient care team.Rockhampton Hospital is a 305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland. Specialist Medical Services include Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Palliative Care, Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care and Anaesthesia.About the role:Assist the Director of Medicine, Rockhampton Hospital, with the organisation, management and provision of Specialist Renal Services.Provide professional leadership to medical staff within the department, and actively contribute to the multidisciplinary patient care team.Manage haemodialysis patients in Central West Hospital and Health Service through telehealth and regular site visits to Longreach hospital as scheduled.About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and / or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $528,432 p.a. is comprised of:A salary rate between $251,527 - $266,677 p.a. (L25 – L27)A salary rate between $210,332 - $244,313 p.a.
