Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist)This is your opportunity to contribute to our vision of creating:Pathways to better healthfor our North West communities.Regional, rural and remote $$$ incentivesWe are currently looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) to join a highly motivated team based at the Mount Isa Hospital in far North Queensland providing anaesthetic services within the North West Hospital and Health Service.The ideal candidate:Skills in epidurals for delivery suite and anaesthesia for obstetrics is required.Scope of Practice in paediatric anaesthesia (5 years and younger) is desirable.An interest or experience in Intensive Care management of patients.An interest in, or experience in, regional anaesthesia and acute and/or chronic pain management.Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).Current registration with/or eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.The lifestyle in Mount Isa is family friendly; it is a vibrant city with an outback community feel.Affectionately known as the 'oasis of the outback,' Mount Isa represents over 50 nationalities which give the city a unique cosmopolitan flavour.The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people.A permanent role is on offer with job security and flexible hours/roster arrangements negotiable (FIFO available).Pro rata remuneration package (based on f/t equivalent value) from $525,850 up to $650,288 p.a.Base salary rates between $210,332 and $266,677 p.a.
