Your opportunity: The Senior Staff Specialist/ Staff Specialist (Anaesthetist) provides specialist anaesthetic care and related medical services in the Department of Anaesthetics, Bundaberg Hospital.
Assist the Clinical Director and Executive Director Bundaberg and Rurals to ensure clinical services provided are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
Opportunity for Private Practice: The successful candidate may have the opportunity to establish private practice outside of their WBHHS appointment with local private hospitals.
Use of the local private hospital's sessional rooms to allow establishment of practice and referral pathways.
Assistance with credentialling and administrative support to commence private practice.
Introduction to local GPs, physicians and surgeons to facilitate referral pathways.
Several Permanent Full Time (80 hours p.f.)
and Permanent Part Time Positions (hours negotiable).
Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $528,085 p.a., comprising salary between $210,332 - $266,677 p.a., or salary rates between $100.77 - $127.77 p.h.
(p/t), (L18-L27), motor vehicle allowance ($25,500 p.a.
), professional development allowance ($21,500 p.a.
), professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements.
Overtime and on-call allowances will be negotiated with the successful applicant upon appointment.
Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.
