Overview
The Loyalty team is looking for a Senior Specialist, Product Management to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving.
The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Role Develop understanding of end-to-end product lifecycle (e.g., Studio framework), actively works to improve experience and skillsDrive product development focusing on customer journey and experiencePrepare launches and monitors product performance, adoption, and operational healthReview information on competitors' product offerings, business models and technology innovations on a regular basis and shares findingsIdentify opportunities to improve an overall product lifecycle processesMake a point to listen, observe and understand senior management and cross-functional team perspectives and/or preferences; ask effective questions to clarify understandingUse customer needs, research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to document business and product requirements and inform the backlogDisplay judgment to know when to escalate issues and liaise with cross-functional teams for resolutionSupport and participate in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into enhancementsOwn and manage product documentation ensuring it is clear and easily consumable by product, cross-functional and engineering teamsStay aligned with GTM plans for the product setReport status and manage risks within their primary product teamTake initiative and actively seek and participate in activities which stretches ones existing skill setParticipate in team prioritization discussions with Product/Business managementMentor and guide new and less-experienced team membersAssists with candidate selection and onboardingShare and seek knowledge within the Guild/Product to drive reuse of best practices and enhance productivityAll About You Experience reviewing data reports and developing preliminary product enhancement recommendationsHelped develop and manage a product or project budget/P&Ls (e.g., compiled estimates of cost drivers, developed bottom line numbers)Demonstrated consistent success working with partners across other functions in support of product go-to market strategiesTake the time to fully learn the business requirements and associated use casesUnderstands and can explain the product set to cross-functional and senior managersRecognize discordant views and take part in constructive dialog to resolve themVerbal and written communication is clear and conciseImprove team processes that accelerate product development, delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve qualityHas skills in test driven and behavior driven developmentUnderstands customer journeys and ensures a Mastercard good experience by continuously reducing Mean time to mitigate (MTTM) for incidents and ensuring high availabilityCorporate Security Responsibility
