We act for humanity.About the roleThe Senior Specialist is a subject matter expert in Payroll processes and the use of HR information systems (expertise with Dayforce and/or Aurion advantageous). This position is part of a core HR information systems project team to support the implementation of the Payroll module for employees at Australian Red Cross. This role is accountable for leading and driving the discovery, design, build, test, payroll parallel payrun testing and training phases of the payroll module.This role is suitable for a Senior BA with strong payroll experience, or a payroll lead who would like to apply their payroll expertise into hands-on payroll systems implementation.What you will bringSound discipline knowledge gained through experience in payroll systems administration, business analyst or similar role (expertise with Dayforce and/or Aurion advantageous)Substantial experience in Payroll and HR information systems with a key focus on Australia payroll, superannuation, leave entitlement per state, and legislative requirements.Ability to build strong customer and client relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.Take initiative and proactively identify solutions, including but not limited to parallel payroll testing.Ability to identify and implement the most effective and efficient processes, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.Ability to work independently with minimal direction from senior staff, while collaborating effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds to foster a cohesive team environment.Comprehensive technical knowledge in payroll regulations and Industrial Award compliance, HR information systems.Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
