In this role, you'll: Work as part of the Transport Cyber Defence team within our Finance, Technology and Commercial Division. You will lead the way in the provision of expert strategic advice and cyber security skills, to contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of cyber defence, risk management and resilience services across the Transport Cluster.
You will support the Cyber-Defence program at a time when the cyber security strategy is being rewritten for agencies in the Transport Cluster, ensuring that our agencies are cyber-safe.
As a Senior Cyber Specialist, your role will include but not be limited to; the monitoring of cyber security events, engaging in cluster wide cyber security projects, whilst acting as a senior escalation point within the team. This role will see you support cyber defence projects and delivery in terms of governance and risk management.
This position is a fixed term contract until approx. the 30th of June 2025. Your home base will be at Macquarie Park with Hybrid work arrangements and your office anchor day is Thursdays. Other adhoc days in the office will be required depending on project requirements.
About you You are looking for a position that will define your career. You're recognised as a seasoned expert in cyber defence, security, risk and resilience. You will have previous experience working within an Agile project-based environment, as you will work across a variety of projects. You will possess finely tuned stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experience in governance and assurance is essential.
