About the VGSO The Victorian Government Solicitor's Office (VGSO) serves the rule of law exclusively for the State, providing responsive legal services for the Victorian Government and the broader Victorian Public Sector.
About our branch Our Workplace Relations and Occupational Safety Team is a busy and high performing team of 20 lawyers providing specialist legal services to the Victorian Government and the broader Victorian Public Sector. We work on diverse, complex and challenging advice work and litigation matters.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Workplace Relations or OHS lawyer to join the team, assisting in responding to the ever-growing demand for our legal services.
Your skills and experience Fantastic opportunity for a workplace relations lawyer with at least 3 - 4 years PQE to join our growing Workplace Relations Team at the VGSO!
Demonstrated ability to carry out complex legal research and analysisAbility to efficiently provide expert and authoritative written and oral advice which is fit for purposeExcellent interpersonal, communication and client relationship management skillsExperience in workplace relations and/or occupational health and safety law is desirable but not essential.VGSO offers an inclusive, collegiate and collaborative work environment where you will be well-supported and mentored to develop your knowledge. You will also be given excellent career opportunities to progress and develop within the organisation.
