The firm was established five years ago by senior litigators who previously led the Australian and UK class action litigation practice at one of Australia's largest plaintiff law firms.

Job DescriptionEnsure that the Company provides legal services that meet the highest professional standards, including:
a) in the performance of the Employee's own work; and
b) in supporting the work of other Company employees.Assist with preparation for hearings, mediation and trials;Show initiative in identifying potential matters and investigating those potential matters, including reviewing (where relevant) company announcements, analyst reports and other relevant documents;Prepare memos containing analyses and summaries of judgments, statutes and primary documents as directed, including for investigations;Work on and/or supervise document review and analysis tasks including large discovery reviews;Prepare briefs to counsel and experts, collate exhibits, and prepare other document collections such as key document folders drawn from discovery review;Prepare drafts of correspondence, court documents, and other documents under the supervision of lawyers;Manage and operate databases;Contribute to a workplace culture that is highly professional but relaxed and fun, that is efficient and outcome-focussed, and which encourages collaboration and creativity irrespective of seniority;Assist other support staff with administrative duties as required, and support lawyers in running particular files; andPerform such other duties as directed and necessary for the proper performance of the role.Desired Skills and ExperienceParticipation or completion of higher education in lawAbility to follow direction and proceduresExcellent administration and organisation skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritise workloadDemonstrates initiativeTreats all colleagues with courtesy and respectDemands high performance from self and colleagues #J-18808-Ljbffr
