As the Senior Solicitor in the Commercial Team, you will provide specialist legal advice, negotiate with external stakeholders, formulate strategy, advise on procurement, and manage risk on commercial projects including large infrastructure projects, construction, and other core projects.Your work will span projects which support Council's day-to-day operations (transport services, construction, and waste services, etc.) along with the transformative infrastructure projects that will lead to Brisbane 2032. This role will allow you to harness your knowledge and experience and partner with a variety of branches across Brisbane City Council.The successful candidate will be able to manage competing long-term and short-term priorities, re-prioritize workload to accommodate urgent requests & shifting deadlines.
