About us Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. We can help people with most areas of criminal law, family law, and everyday civil law legal issues. We give legal advice, help at court, and do family dispute resolution. We can do this over the telephone or at one of our 28 offices.
About the Role Provide legal advice and representation to clients of Legal Aid NSW, including in more complex matters, in accordance with Legal Aid NSW policies and guidelines to contribute to the implementation of Legal Aid NSW's mission to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients and assist them in resolving their legal problems. Supervise and lead junior legal staff in achieving this aim.
About you The right person for this role will be an experienced Criminal Law solicitor who can maintain a busy practice while simultaneously supervising and leading other solicitors. The successful applicants will be committed to delivering excellent service for clients and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of the criminal law jurisdiction in NSW. Experience as a criminal law solicitor is required, and some management experience is preferred.
