About the role
As a key contributor to our Member Platforms team, you'll identify, develop and implement software solutions tailored to our business needs. You will utilize various development frameworks as you analyze, design and develop our very first People First Bank website!
You will love to collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop the website and be the expert on its functionality and technical aspects to ensure a secure, efficient and scalable website. Your deep understanding of the website will position you as the "go-to" person for both functionality and technical support.
Specifically, this will include:
Evaluating and developing business solutions based on requirement specifications provided by Analysts, Platform Administrators, Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Developers.
Assisting in project and task planning, including effort estimation and technical specifications.
Maintaining application security using technologies such as mTLS or OAuth.
Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks through observability tools.
Implementing and maintaining integrations with third-party applications.
Collaborating with Analysts, Architects, and other stakeholders to develop requirements, acceptance criteria, and test plans.
Contributing to technical capability improvements and process uplifts.
Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Maintaining documentation in line with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) guidelines.
Owning product-related build pipelines and associated software artifacts.
Supporting continual product uplift to meet technical and business compliance requirements.
About you
Your solid work history in Senior Software Engineering roles demonstrates your passion for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to solve complex problems. You also demonstrate a solid background in managing and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, coupled with a proactive approach to technology trends and innovations. These capabilities will be crucial for your success in this role.
We also seek:
Solid professional C# ASP.NET development experience
Strong understanding of C# .NET, Web API & security practices
Expertise in Sitecore CMS and Sitecore XP.
Strong understanding of Sitecore architecture, including content delivery and content management.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
Strong understanding of web application development and architecture patterns
Strong understanding of UX patterns, integration patterns and object-oriented design patterns, programming principles, and techniques
Experience building and consuming RESTful API endpoints.
Experience working within an agile, cross-functional team.
Experience in continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD)
Collaborate with the tech team and business stakeholders to create and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications.
