We're now looking to expand this awesome team, starting with a Senior Software Engineer whose expertise lies within quality engineering. If you're excited by tackling intellectually challenging engineering problems, driven by designing and implementing full-scale test automation solutions, and take pride in writing elegant code (Python) whilst training software engineers to integrate the Shift Left approach - then this might just be your next exciting career move.
You'll lead our testing automation and quality engineering strategy by evaluating our automation capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, and driving the seamless integration of testing automation into our development process. Using your Python expertise you'll be given free rein to build globally leading, full-scale automation solutions to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and security.
We're interested in hearing from people who:Are experts in Python and enjoy designing and building your own innovative automation testing frameworks and tooling.Will be the squad's "Quality Advocate," encouraging a critical thinking mindset and driving the prevention of defects over the detection of defects.Build robust test doubles to minimize dependencies.Influence product design, implementation, and enhancement to support testability and quality.Automate basic real-time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring.Are highly experienced in working Shift Left and enjoy influencing and coaching in new ways of working.Tech skillsWe use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
