Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Java

Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. In addition to the day to day programming, you'll also play the tech lead and help mentor a squad by fostering a collaborative team environment. 


Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy complex Java applications using modern frameworks and technologies  Collaborate with frontend developers to build responsive and user-friendly Angular-based UI components Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner Mentor junior developers and foster a positive and collaborative team environment Required Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) Must have an in-depth knowledge of Angular and TypeScript Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.) Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containers (Openshift, Kubernetes)  Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities This is a contract role with a likely extension, it will have a 2 stage process of interviews with the client - firstly, technical coding tests in both Spring Boot and in Angular, followed by an interview.
