You will play a pivotal role in crafting high-performance .NET Core applications leveraging the power of AWS, Terraform, and microservices architecture.
As part of our Corporate Head Office, you will collaborate with a talented team to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.
The RoleAs a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for the development of high-quality software that brings value to Ramsay Health Care.
This position will ensure the high availability of these systems, the design, implementation, and changes to interfaces, resolve escalated incidents and support service resilience.
Key Role AccountabilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain robust, scalable .NET Core applications on the AWS cloud platform.Contribute to our organisational transformation by both creating new solutions, and refactoring extant solutions to support the business.Implement microservices architecture principles to foster rapid development and deployment cycles.Utilise Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate application infrastructure provisioning and management.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in CI/CD pipelines.Employ your expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server to build exceptional software solutions.Leverage APIs (SOAP & REST) and web service technologies to seamlessly integrate applications.Optimise applications with a keen eye for performance and efficiency.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges.Effectively mentor and share knowledge with colleagues to eliminate single points of failure.Prioritise tasks effectively and demonstrate excellent time management skills.Your Essential Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of professional experience in software development.Solid understanding of .NET Core (preferred) with experience in .NET 4.x a plus.Proven track record of building and deploying cloud-based applications on AWS.Proficiency in Terraform for managing infrastructure as code.Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and platforms.Experience with microservices architecture for building componentized and scalable applications.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.Effective communication and collaboration abilities.Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality code.AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Developer and/or Solutions Architect)Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with Apigee or similar API management platformsA bonus if you have experience with Node.js and/or Flutter.Previous experience with Patient Administration systems e.g.
