About the Role (your why) The Endpoint Engineering team assists companies by supporting their environments day to day and recommending best practices to follow and implement.
The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience.
You will problem-solve technical issues for customers to show how these products can make businesses more productive, collaborative, and innovative.
As a Senior SOE Engineer you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Customers endpoint systems with minimal direction and engage in project work when they arise.
You will have a key focus on ensuring an exceptional customer experience to Datacom's endpoint customer base.

Please note to be successful in this role you would need to be an AU Citizen or Permanent Resident What you will do As a Senior SOE Engineer, you will be responsible, but not limited to: Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager including Intune Strong technical knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Strong technical knowledge of Active Directory – Group Policy Management Strong Scripting ability (PowerShell, VBScript, Batch) Experience with Windows 10 task sequencing and end point configuration Experience with facilitating large and enterprise scale software deployments Maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements of environment wide configurations including user policies, device policies, security policies, firmware, drivers, and automation scripts through enterprise grade endpoint management platforms (Intune) Ensure outstanding levels of customer satisfaction by demonstrating timely, professional, and attentive responses to customers and colleagues Operate in, and contribute to the winning culture of a high performing team Identify service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for Datacom customers Follow best practice methodologies and adhere to recognised ITIL processes (e.g., change/release).
Perform upgrades on applicable hardware and operating systems as required/requested Provide maintenance and enhancements of deployed desktop operating system images (physical and virtual) Assist with projects as required and act as the lead Minimum of 4+ years' experience in SOE migrations, projects, and implementation Minimum 3+ years' experience in MECM Experience with M365 would be advantageous Provide continuous high-quality upkeep of supporting documentation such as Designs, As-Builts, How-tos, environment reporting, risk registers, tickets, and roadmap lifecycles What you will bring You will have 5 years' IT industry experience, preferably within an IT managed service provider, with approximately 5 years' experience in a similar Senior SOE Engineer role.
You will possess exceptional knowledge of Windows Modern Desktop technologies.
Along with good working knowledge of networking and TCP/IP, AD, DHP, DNS, certificate services and Enterprise applications.
You will have exceptional skills in endpoint management platforms, System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune, and Azure Virtual Desktop).
You will bring exceptional troubleshooting, customer service, communication, and prioritisation skills; and will be comfortable and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
You will be comfortable with rapid change and be available to travel to Datacom, customer sites and conferences when required.
