The Opportunity
Due to our sustained growth, we are currently offering an opportunity for a skilled Senior SMP Design Drafter with hands-on experience on projects ranging from conceptual design to detailed engineering.
This position reports directly to the Designer Team Lead and involves working on a diverse array of projects across the Energy, Chemicals and Mineral Processing industries.
You'll be involved in the entire design process, from concept to detailed design, with a clear focus on Piping-Mechanical-Structural expertise.
About You Minimum 7 years of industry experience in mining, minerals processing, energy, and chemicals.A strong understanding of relevant Australian standards.Ability to work autonomously.Experience with projects from conceptual design through to detailed engineering.Ability to take an engineering concept and convert it into a 3D design.Proficiency in producing 2D design drawings, including plot plans, general arrangements, detailed drawings, and piping isometrics.Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D or MicroStation 2D.Proficiency in 3D modelling programs, such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, or REVIT.Your application will include the following questions:
