Queensland Rail is looking for a Senior Signalling Engineer to join our Rail Signalling Design Engineering team.

Role overview:
Design, verify, review, and solve technical problems related to Railway Signal Engineering design articles including Signalling Arrangements, Control Tables, Circuits, and Interlocking Data.
Provide a central role as a signal engineering specialist in a team of engineering professionals, including multi-disciplinary project-based teams to ensure delivery of effective and commercially valuable signal engineering solutions.
Mentor and support the development of design engineers within the team.
Location/hours:
Brisbane CBD office location.
Our standard working hours are 38 hours per work week Monday to Friday; however, there may be a requirement for some pre-planned/occasional ad-hoc weekend work or outside hours work to support commissioning of design works. Compensation for approved outside hours work applies.
What you'll bring:
Minimum 4-5 years of Engineering experience.
Proven experience in delivering signal engineering solutions to meet project requirements.
Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
Qualifications at the time of application:
Bachelor Engineering Electrical/Electronic Degree from an accredited Australian University OR be able to provide evidence of Queensland Rail accepted equivalent that is assessed and recognised by Engineers Australia, the national professional body for Engineers in Australia.
Current unrestricted National Drivers Licence.
