Novated lease options for personal use.About your role: As a Senior Security Advisor, you are responsible for the delivery of security projects in line with the organisations strategies, standards policies and plans. The role is accountable for the coordination of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks for physical security assets. The position leads security vendor management and administers the security program of works. You will work to deliver projects that assist with the security technology strategic direction while also maintaining the health of our current security systems.About you: You hold qualifications in project management or equivalent demonstrated experience in security setting as well as hold your relevant security licence. You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and influence a range of stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. We are also looking for:Significant knowledge of security systems and industry knowledge with a focus on managing projects for large organisations.Demonstrated experience in delivering security projects on time and within budget.Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve issues and ensure progress is maintained in the security program of work.Knowledge and experience in IT security systems integration.Knowledge and experience of contractual and legal obligations including evaluating and managing contracts, contract personnel and project coordinators.Holding Milestone certification would be highly desirable.Other requirements of the role:A 'C' Class licence is required for this role.You will be required to travel intrastate frequently.You may be required to participate in an after hours standby roster.You will be required to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencementAbout us:Energy Queensland is the group of electricity distribution, retail, and energy services businesses 100% owned by the state of Queensland.
