Student Services, Other (Education & Training)Position Number: 0036489Location: ParkvilleRole type: Full-time; ContinuingDepartment: Student and Scholarly ServicesSalary: UOM 6 – $96,459 – $104,413 p.a. plus 17% superAbout the RoleScholarships & Bursaries is responsible for the end-to-end management of over 150 University-wide scholarship programs for undergraduate, graduate and research students, and the delivery of scholarship services on behalf of other divisions in the University.As a Senior Scholarship Officer, you will work with the Scholarship Operations team, primarily supporting the processing of student payments and variations to scholarship, and providing high-standard customer service to students and staff within the University. The Senior Scholarship Officer has a focus on identifying and implementing process improvements and quality assurance. Additionally, you will assist with the delivery of projects or University-wide scholarship programs.Your responsibilities will include:Managing an Operations roster of tasks, allocating work and ensuring tasks are completed within expected timelines and in accordance with documented processes, practices and guidelines. This includes sending scholarship offers, activating scholarships/payments and processing variations to scholarship benefits.Responding to student and staff enquiries in accordance with agreed service standards and response times, using relevant enterprise systems (e.g. oneCRM and ServiceNow).Keeping up to date with and developing professional knowledge and skills relevant to the role and the organisation's broader objectives.Identifying continuous improvement of business activities based on analysis and feedback and by working collaboratively with colleagues.Who we are looking forWe are seeking a Senior Scholarship Officer who has a proven track record of being able to work under pressure, manage competing demands while maintaining accuracy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will bring positivity and initiative to the team and have the ability to self-motivate and respond to rapidly changing work priorities.You will also have:A tertiary qualification and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in a service-oriented organisationStrong attention to detailExcellent administrative, analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve stakeholder queriesAdvanced skills in learning and using business enterprise systems and using MS Excel to compile, analyse and manipulate data for work processing and reporting purposesDemonstrated commitment to consistently provide high quality service, anticipate the needs of others, exercise tact, judgement and discretion, and communicate complex matters in a clear and concise mannerStrong history of identifying and implementing process improvements and capacity to operationalise these changes across a teamThis role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University.
