The Senior Sales Manager – Clean Air will provide Clean Air equipment and plant solutions that meet Jord's customer's needs whilst meeting sales and gross margin targets to maintain and grow Clean Air sales revenue.
The position is responsible for leading the development, commercialisation and expansion of Jord Clean Air technology by working in close co-operation with the technology providers and product technical experts.
Duties and Responsibilities: Meet and exceed set sales targets for the Clean Air product.New business development and technical direction for Clean Air technology within the Resources business unit.Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their technical and commercial requirements.Persuade clients that Jord's product offering best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.Ensure clean air systems are accurately designed and sized to meet the clients' process specifications and required process guarantees, including allowances for relevant process contingencies in design.Conduct mass balancing of flowsheet operations, design relevant test work, analyze test data, interpret results, and prepare reports and presentations for clients as required.Review client specifications and requirements and complete bids and proposals that meet client needs.Prepare accurate cost estimates in line with the company's technical and commercial requirements.Prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations and clarification responses.Maintain flexibility to sell or package other items of process plants as the company or market need arises.Utilize and maintain the company's contract quotation databases and quote management systems.Work closely with Jord's Management, Operations and Engineering teams, & Licensee personnel, especially those involved with engineering design, procurement, manufacturing, and installation to ensure successful delivery of contracts.Provide technical support as required to plant commissioning supervision, training of client operators, and coordination of after-sales support services.Adhere to all Jord company policies and IMS requirements.Skills and Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in the field of Clean Air technology.Degree in Process / Chemical Engineering or related technical field.Proven track record in managing applications, sizing, estimating, and bid/proposal preparation along with a track record in sales generation.Experience in design codes, major industrial client specifications, and the ability to oversee the development of detail mass balances of clean air operations, PFDs, and P&IDs.A proactive and positive attitude focused on the development of the Company's business and the support of fellow staff throughout pre-award and execution, working cooperatively and constructively within a culturally diverse team environment.Strong written and spoken communication skills.Relevant awareness of chemical/process design and simulation programs.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Comprehensive knowledge of likely end-user markets in Australia and globally, to enable opportunities for sale of the Products.An understanding of health and safety standards associated with relevant industrial operations.Ability to understand the operational principles of the Jord products and solutions and those of other associated equipment, identifying opportunities to improve or adapt Jord products and solutions.Demonstrated abilities to set goals and work effectively to achieve them as part of a team, along with the management skills necessary to lead a small team within a larger organisation.Focus on quality and provision of value to the Company and our clients. #J-18808-Ljbffr
