The Commission is an independent statutory body that promotes improvement in policies and practices affecting the safety and wellbeing of Victorian children and young people. It has a particular focus on vulnerable children and young people. The Commission is also the regulator for the Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme. The Senior Review and Inquiries Officer works as part of the Inquiries and Systems Reform team to deliver on the Commission's strategic plan as directed. This role involves conducting file reviews, reviewing current policy, and drafting inquiry reports that make findings and recommendations to improve the out-of-home-care and child protection systems.
