Job Requisition ID # 24WD84251Position OverviewThe Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for revenue recognition and reporting for Autodesk worldwide. The Revenue Analyst will work closely with the Senior Revenue Manager/Revenue Manager providing deal support to the business for large Enterprise contracts in addition to traditional revenue accounting tasks.This position will perform monthly and quarterly close activities for revenue, reconcile and validate revenue, prepare required journal entries, analyze data, and prepare reports for auditors and management. In addition, the position will also assist with process re-engineering and system enhancement projects.ResponsibilitiesSupport Revenue Accounting and Revenue Accounting Operations teamsPull documentation needed for WW deal reviews and statutory auditsRun reports in Business Object Finmart to identify deals in scope for deal reviewPrepare deal review packages for QE/YE audit selections to ensure adherence with revenue recognition principlesAssist with revenue adjustment and forecast alignmentAssist with quarter end analyses such as SSP, contract modifications, etc.Prepare ASC 606 contract review documentation of non-standard T&Cs for revenue scopingPerform account analyses and reconciliations for revenue-related accountsPrepare journal entries for revenue and deferred revenueSupport team in preparing Apollo UAT documentationSupport building efficiencies through process improvementOther ad-hoc requests from Senior Analysts and ManagersMinimum QualificationsB.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required3-5+ years of revenue or general accounting experienceAcute attention to detail and well-developed organizational skillsExcellent quantitative, analytical, and data mining skills; strong Excel skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment as well as independentlyAbility to adapt in a dynamic work environmentExperience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation, and working with external and internal auditors, as well as with stakeholders from international locationsSoftware company experience preferred; SAP, Business Objects, RAR, and Anaplan experienceOutstanding analytical, communication, and technical skills with a can-do attitudeStrong understanding of larger-company finance and accounting practicesConfidence, good judgment, energy, and personality to work in a dynamic, multi-business unit environment across all levels of management and across business units and functionsMindset of seeking out constant process improvement and having the initiative to implement new efficiencies#LI-AV1Learn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
