Senior Research Assistant - Indigenous Health (Identified S25)

Part-time (60% / 3 days per week), fixed-term position for up to 3 years.Full time base salary will be in the range $78,944 - $87,750 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 5).Identified s25: Position open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only.We are seeking a motivated Senior Research Assistant to join our friendly team at the UQ Poche Centre for Indigenous Health. In this role, you will provide research support for the ARC Centre of Excellence for Indigenous Futures health and wellbeing theme, aimed at transforming the health and wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.Key responsibilities will include:Drafting research documentation, including ethics, funding, and protocol documentation.Coordinating investigators and stakeholder organisations in relation to research activities.Preparing reports, graphs, figures, and presentations on research outputs.Assisting in the design of research studies.Undertaking literature searches and reviews.Providing support to the IFC central team and support Centre wide activities.At UQ, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are supported to fill their cultural responsibilities, with access to 8 additional days (pro-rata) of paid Cultural Leave annually.About UQAs part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.
