We're seeking individuals who empower others, embrace innovation, and want to work in an open and supportive environment, where teamwork and collaboration are valued.At TLEA, you'll be part of a team that is excited to be involved in a world-class project that benefits not only the Western Australian community but the world.ABOUT THE POSITIONOur business seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis, working a Monday to Friday roster at our Kwinana Refinery.The successful applicant will be responsible for championing the multi-disciplined and holistic approach to asset reliability on-site, ultimately increasing asset uptime and availability. You will be responsible for supporting the Plant Engineers in root cause analysis and defect elimination, ensuring the correct processes and best practices are documented and key staff are trained appropriately. Working with the Maintenance Strategist, you will provide significant input into maintenance practices and key reliability projects.In addition to possessing our core values of distinction, pragmatism, honesty, tenacity, and innovation, this position will suit someone who can simplify complex processes, remains cool under pressure, and looks beyond the obvious answers.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide guidance to the business on the application of reliability engineering tools and models.Use statistical models on asset failure data, including Weibull distribution, to guide the business on improvement programs.Apply Six Sigma analytical models to optimise maintenance strategy.Facilitate and lead sessions completing Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis Assessment.Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of condition monitoring on site including vibration, thermography, tribology and ultrasonics (partial discharge).Actively publish and routinely present Pareto charts into bad actors, including improvements seen from reliability programs.Ensure investigations of reliability threats and poor-performing assets are allocated to a suitable investigation leads.Personally lead Root Cause Analysis on complex plant failures using the Apollo root cause analysis methodology. Coach junior staff in applying the tools.Track investigations and provide regular reports on investigation status and corrective reliability actions coming out of investigations. Utilise dashboards where suitable to summarise progress.ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSEngineering qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical.Experience in oil, gas, petrochemical or mineral refineries in a maintenance capacity.Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.Committed and practical approach to safety and wellbeing of all staff.Ability to engage and communicate clearly with team and liaise with all levels of the organisation.Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks.Excellent knowledge of refinery operational practices.Possesses excellent stakeholder engagement attributes and has an inclusive and open style.HOW DO I APPLY?To find out more about this unique opportunity, please submit your application by Wednesday 6 November 2024 by clicking the 'Apply' button.
