The Opportunity
Our busy medical centre is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Medical Receptionist looking to take the next step.
As senior receptionist, you will be part of the reception team and support the Practice Manager in the day to day operation of the Medical Centre.
The position is offered on a Permanent full time basis.
Responsibilities include: Provide support to the Practice Manager with staff management and general administrative processesAssist the Practice Manager with implementing initiatives and promotions to improve centre performanceMaintaining a safe, healthy and professional working environmentEnsure processes and systems are in accordance with the National Standards of AccreditationWelcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointmentsAnswer and respond to telephone enquiries in a courteous and professional mannerAccurately process patient payments via direct bill, cash and TYROSupport the provision of accurate and timely financial and practice dataTake responsibility for staff management and the efficient delivery of administrative and customer service aspects of the centre in the Practice Manager's absenceRequirements: Previous medical reception experience is essentialUnderstanding of business operations in a healthcare practiceExceptional customer service and teamwork skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task and problem solveAbility to master new processes and ITPrevious experience with Best Practice Software is an advantagePrevious leadership or supervisory position in a medical practice is desirableTo Apply
