About the role: We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an exceptional candidate looking to be challenged in the pursuit of career advancement. You will work within the Interventional Cardiology department comprising of Cardiac Catheter, Electrophysiology Laboratories and Right Heart Catheterisation/ Endocardial Biopsy procedure room. Some interventional procedures include; percutaneous valve intervention (TAVI, Mitral and Tricuspid), left atrial appendage closure, Paravalvular leak closure, PFO, ASD closure, AF ablation, cardiac resynchronisation therapy.
The successful candidate will become proficient in the use of multiple modalities of ancillary imaging equipment including IVUS, OCT, FFR and iFR co-registration. There will be an on-call emergency/STEMI requirement; the successful candidate must be able to attend the ICS within 30 minutes of being called. The role will require working in an occasionally high-stress, life critical environment.

Selection Criteria: Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.Bachelor of Science Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent and Current AHPRA registration and current New South Wales EPA Radiation Licence.Previous clinical experience within an interventional medical imaging environment.Demonstrated experience in cardiac imaging.Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads in a fast-paced environment.Ability to inspire staff and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational outcomes.Proven aptitude in self-directed learning, complex problem solving and decision making.Proven high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills and computer literacy.Shortlisting for this position will commence immediately.
