WPE is a progressive and growing logistics company that offers a wide range of services to a broad customer base including all areas of mining, food, alcohol, pharmaceutical and farming suppliers.We service Australia wide with a range of strategically placed depots that allow us to provide Time Sensitive Freight solutions to an extensive client base.WPE has made the decision to add to our existing senior Accounts team with this permanent full-time position.Qualifications & ExperienceAccounting Qualifications together with extensive hands-on experience.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAbility to analyze and think critically about the business issues.Help Accounts Payable and Receivable staff.Payroll for a staff of 60 using Employment Hero.Full management of weekly Creditor Payments.Management Reporting using Xero.Ability to learn and master our in-house Transport Management system.Creation and management of relevant work papers both monthly and end of year.Fuel tax credit reconciliation.Monthly BAS preparation and lodgment together with other statutory payments.Monthly P&L reconciliation.Understanding of Company Structures and Trusts an advantage.Bank Reconciliations.Work closely with external Accountants.Flexible Work Hours.Work for Private Enterprise where decisions can be made and acted on immediately.Be part of a Management Team where your thoughts count.Long Term Position.Flexible location of Sydney, Orange or Dubbo.Have support from a highly experienced internal accounts team.WPE is a growing and dynamic business that is looking for a professional team member who takes pride and wants to excel within their position.If this position interests you, please apply with current references.
