Senior Project Safety Advisor

Role purpose
Responsible for playing a key role in the development and implementation of effective H&S management standards, practices and reporting processes across VHBA's program of major health infrastructure projects. Working alongside project delivery teams, this role ensures H&S risks and opportunities are effectively managed and controlled. This senior H&S role leads strategic advice provision across incident investigations, root cause analysis and emergency response management.

Victorian Health Building Authority
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. Our diverse projects span the health, mental health and aged care portfolios across metropolitan, regional and rural settings and ambulance branches across Victoria. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. Our priority is to provide innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions that will ensure our health system meets the needs of all Victorians now and into the future.

Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA)
VIDA is responsible for delivering the largest transport and health infrastructure program in Victorian history. This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing 110 level crossings, building new hospitals and upgrades to ambulance stations, specialist health services and early parenting centres. Led by the Director-General, VIDA is comprised of the four project offices – Victorian Health Building Authority, Major Road Projects Victoria, Level Crossing Removal Project and the Metro Tunnel Project.
